I’ve known Kira’s mom since before she was born and it’s no surprise that Kira has grown into such a kind, creative, and athletic girl! She’s a volleyball player and a cellist, loves to color her hair different colors and has eclectic taste in music. We had a great time during her evening session at Wonderland Lake and I’m excited to see what the future holds for this unique and talented girl!

Trey was super laid-back and easy going which made his photo session a breeze.  His friends describe him as funny, relaxed but motivated. He is musically talented and has a great sense of style. The fall is one of my favorite seasons and we had a gorgeous day for Trey’s session.

All throughout her youth, Olivia’s grandparents owned a vacation home near Grand Lake so she spent a great deal of time there. Since their house is now being sold, she really wanted to do her senior session in the area to give her one more happy and lasting memory of Grand Lake. Olivia, her mom, and I drove up and a Saturday afternoon in October to her grandparents house, took some photos around the property and then went in to town for dinner. The next morning we hung out by the lake and took a few more before getting some breakfast and heading home. I don’t usually get to spend quite so much time with my seniors so it was such a pleasure to get this opportunity. And I love  photographing someone in a location that has such a connection for them. The whole experience was wonderful!

This young lady loves to bake and may become a pastry chef in the future. If she moves to England, maybe we’ll see her on the Great British Baking Show! She is fun and creative and driven so it wouldn’t surprise me if we do. :) She is also sweet (no pun intended) and easy to hang out with. Zoe is off to the University of British Columbia next fall and I’m ever so slightly jealous because Vancouver is such a cool place to be. Best of luck, Zoe!
